Mount Nittany Health Toys for Tots Drive 2022 Kicks Off
Mount Nittany Health patients and community members are invited to donate toys to the Toys for Tots campaign. This drive will collect new, unopened, undamaged toys and food from November 15 through December 6. These donations will go directly to local families in need during the holiday season. This year, there will be donation boxes at Mount Nittany Medical Center and each Mount Nittany Physician Group specialty location.
Last year Mount Nittany Health employees and community members donated more than 330 toys and 220 food items.
Encouraged donations for this year's Toys for Tots drive include:
Toy Donations (Ages 0 - 18):
- Books
- Barbie's
- Trucks
- Bikes
- Sports equipment
- Board games
- Card games
- Electronics
- Ear buds
- Crafting supplies
- Legos
- Nerf guns
- Bath toys
- Building blocks
- Hot Wheels
- Puzzles
Consumables:
- Boxed: pasta, potatoes, cereal
- Canned: soups, vegetables, meats
- Seasons: salt, pepper, garlic
- Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger
- Oils: vegetable, coconut, crisco
- Baking: flour, sugar, chocolate chips, non-stick spray
- Snacks: jell-o, pudding, small packaged chips/pretzels
Non-Consumables:
- Paper Products: towels, plates, bowls, cutlery
- Storage: Foil pans, Ziploc bags, food storage wrap
- Cleaning: Clorox, Windex, dish soap, laundry detergent
- Personal: deodorant, soap, brushes, toothpaste/toothbrushes, body wash, pads, tampons, Chapstick, socks, hair ties
